I’m a journalist based out of Calgary. I’ve worked at the 2010 and 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and Sochi respectively, as well as the 2012 Olympics in London, as a segment reporter for the Olympic News Channel.
Internationally, I’ve covered everything from women’s hockey and soccer to table tennis and fencing. I have also spent more than half a decade on Calgary radio covering sports and what’s happening around us in news, traffic and business.
Some of most memorable events I’ve covered include the 2008 Grey Cup victory by the Calgary Stampeders, 2010 rescue of the Chilean miners, Royal Visit in 2011 during the Calgary Stampede and the Southern Alberta flooding of 2013.
I graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in English and minor in Communications. I completed my journalism post-degree at Mount Royal University.
I love sports more than I could ever really explain. I have a rather dry and sarcastic sense of humour – typical Canadian, eh? In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, hockey, fitness, photography and music.
